Basement finishing questions
What flooring is best for a Michigan basement?+
For most basements we recommend waterproof luxury vinyl plank. Our guide on LVP versus laminate explains why.
Do I have to drop a ceiling in the basement?+
No. In our basement rec room the ceiling was left exposed and painted black, which keeps height and gives an industrial look.
Can you add a bathroom while finishing the basement?+
Yes. Basement bathrooms are a regular part of our work.
