This new build came to us wrapped and ready, with a timber framed entry porch already standing. Our part was the outside skin of the house: siding on the main house and on the two story garage.
The design mixes white lap siding with vertical board and batten in the gables and around a two story wall of windows. Those transitions, plus the trim at every window, roofline and corner, are what make siding look crisp instead of patched together.
The finished house reads as one clean white farmhouse, set off by black windows, stacked stone columns and the timber porch.
